The Connoisseur offers the finest in French and Continental cuisine in town. The restaurant is the pride of the Garden with decoration and design takes after the classical style of 18th Century Louis XIV period. The Connoisseur cellar features one of the best collections with over 110 highly acclaimed fine wines from 9 different countries.

The Connoisseur is delighted to feature two impressive selections of wines from Louis Jadot. Louis Jadot was founded in 1859 and is today one of the most respected names in Burgundy. It maintains a single-minded attitude towards the preservation of each terroir's character in both Burgundy and Beaujolais so as to produce wines of the highest quality.


Louis Jadot Bourgogne Macon Village

This wine is very fruity, displaying peach, pear and grapefruit, with white flower aromas and a slightly vanilla touch. An elegant wine, the mouth is structured, pleasant and harmonious.


Louis Jadot Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Harmonious and balanced, with a plump fruitiness and silky texture offset by round, gentle tannins. The bouquet is complemented by a deliciously lingering finish.

  Mediterranean Tapas & Mezes Disgustation in THE LONGLIFE of THE GARDEN HOTEL
   

 

Our Tapas and Mezes Promotion will take you to the far reaches of the Mediterranean basin. From Spain to Turkey, Italy to Morocco, France to Greece and beyond, the flavors of sun filled dishes will surely brighten your day. Mediterranean food is no secret to our French Executive Chef Michel Seyve and he is presenting a menu that both reflects the complexity and variety of small Tapas and Mezes dishes.

Original served as snacks in the cafes around the basin, these dishes can amount to a meal on their own. Start with Italian cheesy garlic bread loaded with parmesan cheese then try a smoked Norwegian salmon with caper and red onions on toasted baguette bread from the French Riviera. Moving along the coast, our Spanish tortilla (potato omelet) is here to accompany our famous Sangria. Further south, Merguez sausages will add a bit of spiciness from Morocco. Turkey has given us babaganoush and fried mussels, while Greece is bursting with flavors in our marinated feta cheese with herbs and Loukanika sausage.
Chef Seyve has carefully chosen all the dishes for their flavors and healthy elements, and his menu, is sure to see you come back for more as one visit to LongLife will not be enough to sample all 40 dishes offered!
